Metria using Keystone for satellite mosaic production

Metria is using a Keystone system to produce 2020 SACCESS layers for Lantmäteriet, the Swedish national land survey. Lantmäteriet has been running the free SACCESS service since June 2008 offering satellite images of Sweden from the 1970s onwards. New nationwide datasets are added every year and are used for applications including landscape change, agriculture and forestry.

Saccess provides unprocessed satellite scenes for expert users, and orthocorrected satellite scenes as background data. It also contains a cloudless nationwide mosaic composed of orthocorrected satellite scenes that users can adapt to their own application in infrared or natural colours.

In addition to providing the Keystone system, Spacemetric will support Metria’s production process with technical know-how.
